Un utente di PS3news, TechnoDon, ha rilasciato un CFW 4.10, per console retail (le nostre, non quelle da sviluppatori!) che sono al 3.55.

Consente d’installare homebrew firmati su PS3. Sembra non servire a nulla, perchè, come dichiarato dall’utente, “sfortunatamente non parte su homebrew firmati 3.55″

This is my first custom firmware its a Modified 4.10 Kiosk/Shop firmware for installation on 3.55 retail consoles.

Changes:
1. Custom Coldboot
2. Kiosk/Shop XMB restrictions have been removed so Playstation Home/Playstation Store work fine.
3. Modified to allow installation of retail signed packages

unfortunately 3.55 Signed Homebrew does not install/run.

DO NOT Install this unless you have a e3 flasher or progskeet type device to downgrade your PS3 to 3.55.

To Unlock the XMB: Hold L1+R1+Select+Square simultaneously. When the security settings icon is selected. It will ask for you to input a code (four digit code). Enter 2464

Noi siamo ovviamente un pò scettici, dato che non funzionano gli HomeBrew signati 3.55, è quasi inutile. Aspettiamo novità per la modifica della PS3, che dopo il 3.55 è diventata quasi impossibile da realizzare.
